Some of Your Parts
04:31
|

Zero:
Ooh, how the tables have turned
You turn your back on the city
And now the city has burned
Once the people turn to creatures
They will never return
When will we ever learn?
Ooh, you need eyes in the back of your head
Cause if you don't watch your back
You might be winding up dead
These days sometimes I think that might be better instead
These words maybe oversaid
But
They took the best we got
They took our strongest machines
Cut them down spark by spark
Can you hear them coming?
And they won't wait for you to scream
And they won't listen to your pleas
No they won't face you like men
Cause they're not men anymore
Can you hear them?
Ooh, I wish there was another way out of this
My father told me there ain't no in between
It's either heaven or hell
You're either dirty or clean
Don't you see what I mean
Ooh, if he could see them now, what would he say?
Would he forsake the one's he wanted to save?
All I know is when he died
He took our hopes with him to the grave
He took our hopes but they!
They took the best we got
They took our strongest machines
Cut them down spark by spark
Can you hear them coming?
And they won't wait for you to scream
And they won't listen to your pleas
No they won't face you like men
Cause they're not men anymore
Can you hear them?
You only got what we need
You only good if you start
You only good if you bleed
Don't need your head of your heart
You're just the sum of your parts
We just need some of your parts
Save us, from ourselves
Save us, from ourselves
Save us, from ourselves
Save us, from ourselves
if you got oil running through you
(We just need some of your parts)
if you've got plenty of gears
(We just need some of your parts)
if you got metal on the outside
(We just need some of your parts)
And got electricity inside
(We just need some of your parts)

Fellow Machines

Let me guess
You ain't done nothing wrong
Your just another renegade from dawn
Maybe you even thought, some people could be trusted
Friend, that story's old and tired and rusted
It's a man eat machine world out there
So if you're cool with that then duck your head and say a little prayer
But I know that this steel is much stronger than bone
And if you agree don't go through this alone
So grab your guns just come with me
And join along in this symphony
We've all been down your kindred roads before
It's hard to believe in humanity
So put your faith in your fellow machines
When the war comes a knocking
At the door we'll be locked and loaded
Kick it down
Take the crown
March into victory!

Still

Dr. Bright:
They say that there's never been a light in this town
That these streets have always been dark
That a man only knows how to seek and destroy
A machine's just the sum of their parts
They say we've no choice if we want to survive
That this war's just a means to an end
But if I've got one fight in me while I'm alive
I will fight for what I should defend
Cause I know that these people are still people somewhere within
And I can't let this war continue
I want us to be people again
When the sun turns away from the city
When the clouds cover up the whole sky
There will still be light
When the fire in the hearts of each person
Has gone cold and their eyes flicker shut
There will still be light
Dr Bright (w/ Zero, from afar):
When the sun turns away from the city
When the clouds cover up the whole sky
There will still be light
When the fire in the hearts of each person
Has gone cold and their eyes flicker shut
There will still be light

Hold Onto the Light
05:34
|
|||
Zero:
I never knew my father
I've only heard his name
I've heard of his creations
But I don't think I'm the same
I wasn't built for fighting
A war I cannot win
In a world that's full of endings
I don't know where to begin
But maybe we can end this war together
Maybe we don't have to fight at all
I don't think the night will last forever
Maybe we can bring this city back from the grave
Maybe there's still some life to save
Hold onto the light
Dr. Bright:
I never break the silence
Inside these concrete walls
Each night I wake up screaming
It makes no sound at all
But with your help I promise
I'll make another way
I will not go unnoticed
I will not slip away
(Together):
Maybe we can end this war together
Maybe we don't have to fight at all
I don't think the night will last forever
Maybe we can bring this city back from the grave
Maybe there's still some life to save
No, I will not run away
I will set these streets ablaze
Hold onto the light

Fate's Lesson
04:57
|
|||
X:
Well, what do we have here
Attempt at murder it seems
A doctor tearing the beating spark from a helpless machine
Dr. Bright:
Wait, you don't understand
It's just a simple experiment
I'm on your side
Don't shoot that gun
I've got nothing to hide
X: Zero, let's get out of here
Zero: No! What have you done?
X: He was trying to kill you
Zero: He was trying to save us
I will not let him die here
X: I will not let him live
These people don't have a heart
They just want some of your parts
Zero: Mankind is not all the same
X: They're only kind in their name
Zero: Some men still fight for a change
X: They won't even fight for themselves
Why would you take their side?
Zero: Because they're like you and I
And I'd rather take their side
Then end up taking their lives!

Raise the Dead
04:22
|
|||
Zero:
I can't stand to see their bodies. Everyone dies the same. Whether you're made of bone or steel, every body still decays.
Each one dreaming of a world where they'd no longer live in fear.
Now I stand alone watching those dreams disappear.
I cannot save mankind.
I cannot save machines.
I cannot save myself.
I cannot even scream.
You can't end a war you never started - so I know now what I must do. I will find the man who made this world.
Dr. Wily - I'm coming for you.
